Many thanks to all, who drove the distance to Barrie, and then sailed the distance around Lake Simcoe. Unfortunately Sunday's light winds did not allow us to thank everyone personally for coming to race.
Saturday's winds, and then our dinner at Fitzy's were the highlights of the weekend.
Congratulations to Jeff Proctor and Dave Jameson, who corrected out to a solid first place overall victory.
An interesting note is that the speed record for racing around the course has dropped from 6 hours the first year, to 5-1/4 hours the 2nd year, to 4-1/2 hours this year. All three have been on Saturdays "marks to starboard" course. Is 4 hours possible ?? Sure it is !!!
