LOCATION
Kingston, Ontario, Canada, Portsmouth Olympic Harbor, at the eastern end of Lake Ontario. The City is located 2 hours drive north of Syracuse NY and 2.5 hours east of Toronto. Kingston is renowned as one of the best freshwater sailing locations in the world. The regatta facility was host site for the 1976 Olympic Sailing events.

ACCOMMODATIONS
Lake Ontario Park campground is located one mile east of the regatta site. RV hookups are available. Phone 1-613-542-6574. Reservations are recommended. There is a wide variety of accommodation close by, ranging from the economical Queens University and St. Lawrence College residencies to larger hotels. An information package is available from the CORK office.

RACE INFORMATION
All events are bring your own boat (BYOB). ISAF, CYA and IHCA rules will apply. This is a Category "B" event. Sailing Instructions will be available at registration. All skippers shall be members of the Hobie Class Association NAHCA. All boats shall comply with the class rules and are subject to inspection and measurement at any time during the regatta.

ORGANIZING AUTHORITY
The Canadian Olympic Training Regatta at Kingston (CORK); the North American Hobie Class Association (NAHCA); NAHCA Div.16, Fleet 183.

CHARTER BOATS
We will maintain a list of boat owners who are willing to charter their boats for the event and make this information available to sailors wishing to charter a boat.

RACE REGISTRATION
Complete the registration form provided and be sure to include all information. Mail your registration form along with your entry fee cheque to the address shown before the pre-registration deadline date of July 31. 1999. Registration includes lunches, racing, welcome and awards party, T-shirts and more.

ENTRY FEES
Hobie 17 Open ---------------- $200 US / $300 CAN Preregister
Hobie 16/18 Women's ---------$200 US / $300 CAN Preregister
Registration late fee after July 31/99 add $50 US. $75CAN
The minimum number of registrants (entries) for the Women's Hobie 16 or Hobie 18 events to proceed as scheduled is 10 boats in each class registered prior to July 31, 1999.
